I'm a black male and easily get razor bumps if I shave since I have thick hair that grows in several different directions on my neck. I bought Nair (since that's the most well known) used it two or three times and never used it again. It was messy, but the real problem was the smell. Terrible. Anyway, I lasered much of my neck, especially the troublesome areas on the edge of my hairline toward my chest and haven't had a problem since. I had a terrible experience with depilatory creams.
