Do You Prefer a Waxed Chest? [Hair Removal for Men's Back and Chest]

So it seems that not every Saturday night in NYC is a wild one… There I was chilling at home with Ben & Jerry and a copy of this month’s Esquire Magazine. It’s pretty ho-hum and filled with profiles of celebrities even I haven’t heard of…. Sam Worthington? Christina Hendricks? Gedeon Burkhard? Anyway, my favorite part of any magazine is the help section, where hapless readers ask even more hapless writers questions about their love lives, their beauty problems etc.
So here’s the question, which I appreciate for its short and sweet writing style:
“Waxed chest?”
The Answer, not surprisingly, is that yes, women are repelled by hairy chests. And shockingly, only 28% of women think a man’s chest is even supposed to be hairy!
The writer comes out against waxing because it ‘irritates the heck out of the skin’ and concludes that men should ‘use clippers surreptitiously’ to remove chest hair. Sorry Mrs. Esquire answers lady… you’re giving out some bad advice.
Yes, waxing is irritating but using clippers will leave you with some pretty odd hair designs on your chest. The only real solution to chest hair is to laser it. You know it, I know it, my question is why doesn’t the Esquire answer lady know it?
