Shaving usually gets a bad rap… With good reason, since it’s messy, repetitive, makes you hairier and gives you ingrown hairs and stubble. Okay, inhale… exhale… Now the latest from the Shaving Sucks files is this unfortunate news item:
“A 37 year-old Florida woman caused an accident when she tried to shave her bikini while driving. The woman was on her way to see her boyfriend. The crash only resulted in minor injuries but the woman was arrested the week earlier for driving under the influence.” Read more...

Lately, I’ve been covering New York Fashion Week, so I’m running around like mad!
Backstage at the Mackage fashion show bright and early on Thursday, I saw make-up artists run to the bathrooms with a model in one hand and a Gillette shaver in the other!! (true story!). I’ve heard that models sometimes show up to ‘hairy’ when they know the outfits they’re wearing aren’t showing skin… But how ridiculous!
If only modeling agencies would offer laser hair removal to their girls it would save lots of backstage drama! When I saw the model strutting down the runway in her strapless top, I couldn’t help but laugh a little… Read more...
I missed the Golden Globes so I was on the gossip sites checking out the fashions and faux pas and then I saw this pic of one celebrity’s her hairy legs… Hmmm…. My first instinct is to call the blogger’s bluff and say that this photo is fake.
So Tiger Woods’ nasty cheating mug is on the cover of this month’s Vanity Fair. He’s bare-chested in a black cap and lifting weights. The magazine promises more Annie Leibovitz pictures showing Wood’s raw and unguarded. Tiger is looking like more of a “Cheetah” these days, but this photo also got me interested in his chest… (Sorry, I have a one track mind!) Read more...
