The Truth About Cosmetic Enhancements and Looking Good (Part I) (Celebrity Procedures)

I’m simply frustrated today . . . I just read US Weekly . . . They reprinted a quote from French Marie Claire where Demi Moore denies ever having plastic surgery!
Demi Moore has furiously denied that her remarkably youthful appearance is the result of plastic surgery. Yet, the 46-year-old actress has managed to stay looking like a woman in her twenties for two decades, prompting speculation that she has spent at least $400,000 remodelling her face and body. She always appears to compare well with her husband, actor and producer Ashton Kutcher, who is 15 years her junior.
“It’s completely false, I’ve never had it done,” says the actress, 46. “But I would never judge those who have.”
Really?? How gracious of Demi to not judge those who have had procedures done . . . .
I’m frustrated because she’s obviously not speaking truthfully (did you see her in Striptease?), but more importantly when she denies it, millions of women think “I’ll never look like her because she’s naturally youthful and smooth, there is no treatment that will help me?” But that’s absolutely WRONG!
Cosmetic enhancements are SO common . . . . And I’m not talking about full-on face lifts and Botox shots, those might be a little intense, but the little treatments that can make the difference between looking lame and lovely have never been more accessible. My mom has been getting laser facials and microdermabrasion and honestly, her skin has never looked better. She’s 64 and she looks amazing.
These cosmetic sessions are affordable and easy, but since celebrities keep their beauty secrets under wraps the average girl thinks she can’t compete.
Demi won’t tell you she gets laser facials or microdermabrasion — she won’t tell you, her agent won’t tell you, Ashton won’t tell you . . . But I will tell you and I hope you’re listening.
